I am grateful for life's ability to bless and humble.
I am not grateful for my oppression.
There are barriers to full liberation,
and spiritual reclamation.
I am ready.
The great equalizer is not always death.
It can be accountability,
and healing yourself from past pain.
Trials and tribulations, gratitude break in recurring waves for me.
Trauma affects us all.
But be thankful for another day,
another revolution around the sun.
It could have been anyone else.
But it is us who inherited these lives.
So observe the world and its wonder.
Remember humanity extends to our most vulnerable community.
Join together to protect for what we show gratitude.
