Duff's in Williamsburg, Brooklyn (New York, February 4th)

We witness the arcane in being Black, everyday.

Going to New York (Afro-diaspora hub, so many kinfolk)

forever changes you and my rock-hers were there!

We create Black history each and er'day, while honoring our past.

Black liberation is making the brightest future in this present.

We are each other's hope. And we will not wait.

500 years later, I can still remember African

sand under my toes and Hausa in my ears.

Do you remember last week's post about

the Black Panthers and their mutual aid model?

It is more relevant now when rampant inequality

 cemented many oppressed people's fate.
